Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Specifications Leaked
Maruti Suzuki is all geared up for the launch of its sporty hatchback, the Baleno RS in the Indian market. Ahead of that the specifications of the Baleno RS has been leaked on the internet.
Maruti Suzuki is all set to introduce the sportier version of the Baleno hatchback, the Baleno RS in India. Ahead of that the specifications of the hatchback has been leaked on the internet.
The images of the leaked specification sheet has surfaced on the internet. The spec sheet reveals all the key technical specifications of the Baleno RS.
The Baleno RS will be powered by a 1-litre three cylinder BoosterJet engine which produces 100bhp of power and 150Nm of torque.
The power output of the engine is short by 10bhp compared to the speculated 110bhp of power. Which hints that Maruti Suzuki has detuned the engine for Indian conditions.
The spec-sheet also reveals that the Baleno RS will be introduced with a 5-speed gearbox and all the four wheels will be equipped with disc brakes.
It is expected that Maruti Suzuki will tune the suspension to handle the increase in power output. As per the spec-sheet, the Baleno RS will have a ground clearance of 114mm.
Once
launched
in
India,
the
Baleno
RS
will
take
on
its
segment
rivals
such
as
Volkswagen
Polo
GT
TSI
and
Abarth
Punto.
