Maruti Baleno RS launched in India. The launch price of the all-new Maruti Baleno RS in India is Rs. 8.69 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
Maruti Baleno RS Specifications & Mileage
Powering the Maruti Baleno RS is a 998cc, three-cylinder engine that produces 101bhp @5,500 rpm and 150Nm of torque @ 1,700-4,500 rpm. The Baleno RS returns a mileage of 21.1km/l.

Maruti Baleno RS Design & Features
Design wise, the new Baleno RS retains the general design of the regular Baleno and gets the projector headlamps with LED DRLs as standard. The headlights flank a chromed-out grille.
The new Maruti Baleno RS also sports chrome door handles along with body coloured ORVMs with indicators along with body coloured bumpers.
The A, B, and C-pillars are blacked out as are the alloy wheels, while at the rear, the Baleno RS sports a roof mounted spoiler LED-combination taillights along with a RS badge while the portion of the bumper hosting the number plate is blacked out as well.
Inside, the Baleno RS continues with the blacked out theme and sports a leather wrapped steering wheel along with Maruti's touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto baked in.
Other features include a push-button start, automatic air-conditioning, remote keyless entry and a height adjustable driver's seat.
Maruti has also packed the Baleno RS with safety features including Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belt pre-tensioners with force safe limiters and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
The Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS will compete with the likes of the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI, the Fiat Abarth Punto and Ford Figo 1.5-litre petrol.
Drivespark Thinks!
Maruti is stepping into the unknown with its first attempt at a hot hatchback. However, the Maruti Baleno RS with its aggressive launch price in India and power packed performance could prove to be the crowd favourite in the Indian hot hatchback market.
