Mahindra Racing: Gul Panag Becomes The First Indian Woman To Drive A Formula E Car
Gul Panag said, "I think this for me is like being at home. Over the years I have seen a lot and have gained more experiences but I just feel like all of that is when I could come here."
Gul Panag is an auto enthusiast when not acting in films. She is also known to be an activist, aviator as well as an adrenaline junkie.
Recently, Gul Panag joined Mahindra Racing to learn about the Formula E racing car in Barcelona.Mahindra Racing adds in their tweet that Gul Panag became the first Indian woman to drive a Formula E car.
"I have been a motorsport enthusiast forever... I was extremely delighted to hear that there is going to be an electric race... I have shoved my racing ambassadorship down Mahindra's throat because I am such a big fan," Gul said in a statement.
She added: "I think this for me is like being at home. Over the years I have seen a lot and have gained more experiences but I just feel like all of that is when I could come here."
Gul Panag drove the M4Electro Mahindra Racing Formula E car and was thrilled to drive the electric Formula car. Ahead of the test, Gul Panag was put through the simulator with the able guidance of Felix Rosenqvist.
Felix is a European F3 Champion, 2x Macau Grand Prix & F3 Masters Winner and currently racing for Mahindra Racing team in Formula E.
