Lotus Unveils One-Off James Bond Themed Evora Sport 410 — Pays Homage To Underwater Esprit
Lotus has unveiled a one-off Evora Sport 410 as a tribute to the Esprit S1 that starred in the movie The Spy Who Loved Me, which was released 40 years.
Lotus has revealed a one-off Evora Sport 410 as a tribute to the Lotus Esprit S1 that appeared in the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me.
So what is it that makes this Evora Sport 410 so special? Well for one, its been worked on by Lotus Exclusive - the in-house personalisation department at the Norfolk-based carmaker - who have bestowed upon it a colour-coded bumper along with a one-piece carbon-fibre tailgate also done up in white.
It also has a bespoke badge script on its B-pillar, that portrays the Evora name using the same style and retro typeface used on the Esprit S1.
Inside, the one-off Evora Sport 410 receives seats insert panels and door cards in red and black tartan, the same as the original Bond car. There is also red contrast stitching on the dashboard and the centre console.
Mechanically, the Bond-themed Evora Sport 410 is exactly the same as the regular sports car with a 3.5-litre supercharged V6 producing 410bhp and 409Nm of torque which is sent to the rear wheels through either a maula or an automatic gearbox.
The Bond homage Evora Sport 410 will sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.0 seconds and will keep on sprinting till it tops out at 306km/h if you choose the manual. The top speed drops down to 285km/h if the automatic gearbox is chosen though the sprint time from 0-100km/h drops by one-tenth of a second.
The car is one-off but is available for one lucky Lotus loving Bond super-fan though the British marque has not revealed what said fan will have to shell out.
