Plastics Engineer Invents ‘Safer’ LED Number Plates For Cars
Tushar Guha has invented LED Car number plates, that synchronise with the vehicle’s ignition, thus preventing thefts.
Tushar Guha, a Plastics Engineer, is in the process of patenting his latest technology, a LED car number plate, that is claimed to be safer than the High-Security Registration Plates (HSRP) issued by the government at present.
Tushar has already earned four patents for his innovations, and the LED car plates will be his fifth. Tushar believes that the new LED plate will end vehicle thefts and other illegal activities that take place in the country with stolen vehicles.
Tushar's design of the number plate can neither be removed or tampered with. The ignition circuit of the vehicle is synchronised with the concealed LED lights of the number plate. Also, the Aadhar number is linked too.
Once the vehicle starts, the LED number comes on, and this even helps during the night, say for example in a hit-and-run incident because the number is visible. The idea has been sent to the Prime Minister's Office and the Union Ministry Of Road Transports And Highways.
Speaking of safety, the Volvo S90 pictured below is what comes to mind, since Volvo invented the seatbelts.
