Lamborghini Huracan Gets The Novitec Treatment; Comes Out With 860bhp
Novitec has widened the Lamborghini Huracan, lowered it and strapped on a supercharger giving it an output of 860bhp and 960Nm.
One cannot really complain that the Lamborghini Huracan is a slow car. The 5.2-litre V10 in stock form is powerful enough to propel the car from 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and then onto a top speed of around 324 km/h. But turns out there are a few people who feel, that just is not enough.
If you are one of those who feel the need for more speed, there are tuners like Novitec just for you. Novitec has worked on the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and turned it into a monster of a car. First things first - How fast is it?
Well, Novitec has strapped a supercharger to the engine and fettled with the electronics a bit. The result of that is, a maximum power output of 860bhp and a maximum torque output of 960Nm. Performance numbers aren't available right now, but with output in these figures, bigger supercars should be worried. Maybe some hypercars too.
Novitec has also changed quite a few bits on the body of the Huracan. The supercar from Italy now sports a widebody kit, and the suspension has been lowered by 35mm, making it broader and lower.
A new front Bumper with splitters, new front fenders, sportier hood and a massive, adjustable carbon fibre rear spoiler complete the changes to the body. The Huracan now looks much more aggressive, especially with the Verde Mantis (Lamborghini speak for this shade of green) paintjob.
Only 11 such Huracans will be made by Novitec, taking its rarity quotient to the next level.
