The Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder has been launched in India. Prices for the RWD Spyder, the fifth Huracan to go on sale in India start at Rs 3.45 crore ex-showroom (Mumbai). The launch of the RWD Spyder in India comes just a month after the new Huracan went on sale in Europe.
Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder Specifications
The new Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder like its hardtop sibling the LP 580-2 is powered by a slightly detuned version of Lamborghini's naturally aspirated V10 engine which sends its power to the rear wheels only.
Capacity | 5.2-litres |
Power | 572bhp |
Torque | 540Nm |
Gearbox | 7-speed dual clutch automatic |
Driven Wheels | Rear |
The fact that only the rear wheels are driven means that the new Huracan RWD Spyder is 33 kilograms lighter than its all-wheel-drive sibling. Thanks to the lighter weight the Huracan Spyder will sprintfrom 0-100km/h in 3.6 seconds and will keep on accelerating till it tops out at 319km/h.
Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder Design And Features
The Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder features a redesigned front bumper with larger air intakes thanks to a slightly more aggressive front end. The rear end of the Huracan Spyder also features a few design tweaks.
The new Huracan RWD Spyder sits on 19-inch alloy wheels which are shod with Pirelli P Zero tyres. The wheels play host to steel brakes.
The fabric roof of the Huracan Spyder will open up and close in just 17 seconds at speeds up to 50km/h.
The interiors of the new Lambo include a 12.3-inch display with the latest Lamborghini infotainment system along with leather seats.
The Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder will rival the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet and the Ferrari California T in India.
