Bare Carbon Regera Is The Distilled Essence Of Koenigsegg
The naked carbon Koenigsegg Regera Bare Carbon features black stripes and the dark theme is carried forward to the anthracite callipers along with the same theme seen on the interiors.
Koenigsegg is currently in the midst of promoting the Regera hypercar and any new configuration for the 1,500bhp monster only adds to its popularity among auto enthusiats around the globe.
It all started back in January when Angelholm came up with the idea of asking its employees to come up with configurations of the hypercar. And this time it is the bare carbon model.
The naked carbon is augmented with black stripes, all in the effort to bring out the bad ass image of the hypercar. The dark theme is carried on with the anthracite callipers, also present is the K brand's carbon Tresex wheels, as well as the Regera aero kit.
Regarding interiors, you come acrossdetails of carbon and black mix. Also, seen are the black Alcantara details and the black anodised infotainment console finish. There is also the Snow insert on the seats, giving it the necessary contrast.
As for the Koenigsegg employee who came up with this configuration, Chrille, a man who has worked his way up over the years in the company.
"This week it's Chrille, who's worked in so many different areas of the company he's lost count. He's worked in composites, at our finishing station, in our service area and is currently keeping the whole place standing as our Facility Manager. Chrille is one of those guys who represents the soul of the company," Koenigsegg explains.
Chrille is so dedicated to the Swedish automaker that he has a ghost tattoo above his ankle. And if you are not familiar with the story that transformed the ghost into a Koenigsegg factory feature, you can watch Christian von Koenigsegg explaining the background in the video below.
