Isuzu MU-X Brochure Leaked Ahead Of India Launch
Isuzu is all set to launch the MU-X SUV in India and will replace the MU-7; the brochure for the MU-X has been leaked and here is what we know about the flagship SUV from Isuzu.
The official brochure of the Isuzu MU-X SUV has been leaked ahead of its launch in India revealing details of the flagship vehicle of the company.
The Isuzu MU-X will replace the MU-7 SUV which is currently on sale in India. As per Team-BHP, the India-spec Isuzu MU-X features a 3.0-litre, four cylinder turbo diesel engine which develops 174bhp and 380Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 5-speed sequential automatic gearbox.
For now, the Isuzu MU-X will be offered as a 4X4 variant, essentially a 'shift on fly' unit which does its duties on the V-Cross as well. The brochure reveals that the Isuzu MU-X will return a mileage of 13.5km/l.
As for the features, the Isuzu MU-X will receive LED projector headlamps and DRLs, 6-way adjustable driver seat, climate control, keyless entry, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 8-speaker layout along with 10-inch roof-mounted DVD entertainment system.
On the safety aspect, the Isuzu MU-X receives features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Traction Control System (TCS), dual front airbags and hill assist.
The India-spec Isuzu MU-X sits on an independent double wishbone setup at the front with coil springs, gas shock absorbers and stabiliser bar, while the rear receives a Penta-link suspension with gas shock absorbers and stabiliser bar.
The SUV features 17-inch alloy wheels with disc-brakes on all the four wheels. While the front disc brakes are 300mm in diameter, the rear disc brakes are of 318mm.
The Isuzu MU-X is a full-sized SUV with three row seating layout. Once launched in India, the Isuzu MU-X will lock horns with Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Trailblazer among others.
Isuzu will offer the MU-X with four colour options: Silky White Pearl, Orchid Brown Mica, Cosmic Black Mica and Titanium Silver Metallic.
