Isuzu MU-X India Launch Date Revealed
Isuzu is all set to bring the MU-X SUV to India. The Isuzu MU-X will take on the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.
Japanese carmaker Isuzu is all set to launch its MU-X SUV in India. The SUV has been spotted testing on Indian roads on numerous occasions and will rival the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
Autocar India claims that the Isuzu MU-X is likely to hit showrooms across India on May 11, 2017.
The Isuzu MU-X for India will be the pre-facelifted model and will come with multiple engines and gearbox options. The new MU-X will also be available with both two-wheel-drive and 4X4 options.
The new MU-X's front fascia looks near identical to the D-Max V-Cross pick-up truck. The rear cab has been covered up, and the rear end looks unique with its split horizontal tail lamps the new bumper. The interiors of the new MU-X are identical to the Chevrolet Trailblazer, an SUV with which the Isuzu shares its underpinnings.
The new Isuzu MU-X will be locally assembled at the carmaker's facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh. The plant is also used to assemble the D-Max and the V-Cross pick-up truck.
Isuzu dealers have started accepting bookings for the new MU-X and deliveries are expected to start shortly after the new SUV's launch.
