Isuzu Unveils Sportier D-Max X-Series — Is This The Pickup For You?
After seeing success, Isuzu has unveiled the D-Max X-Series pickup in the Philippines, priced at approximately Rs 17 lakh.
Isuzu has seen good response in the market recently for the V-Cross, especially among the off-road community. To take the success a step further, Isuzu has unveiled a sporty looking pickup, called the D-Max X-Series in the Philippines.
The new X-Series comes with a host of interior and exterior features. Speaking about the exterior, the X-Series comes in three colours: Cosmic Black, Venetian Red, and Splash White.
Also, the front grille is finished in Gunmetal and comes with a bumper skirt with a touch of red, to suit the red Isuzu badge up front. The Isuzu D-Max X-Series rides on 18-inch wheels, finished in a two-tone theme.
Moving to the interior, the seats are finished in black leather with contrasting red stitches to compliment the exterior. Some of the interior bits are finished in piano black, while the front seats get X-Series badges.
Speaking about the engine, the X-Series is powered by a 3.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that makes 163bhp and 380Nm of torque. The engine comes paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox, or a 5-speed automatic unit. The X-Series is priced approximately at Rs 17 lakh (manual) and Rs 18 lakh (automatic).
While the Indian launch is unknown at the moment, the V-Cross is a perfect choice for those looking for a lifestyle pickup. The V-Cross was tested on challenging terrain and it excelled well. Below is the detailed image gallery.
