2017 Hyundai Xcent Facelift Spotted In Chennai; Will Feature New Engine
Inside, the 2017 Xcent is expected to retain the same dashboard design as the ongoing model.
South Korean car giant Hyundai has commenced testing of the 2017 Xcent facelift. The carmaker is also ready to launch the 2017 Grand i10 facelift. The new Xcent will be launched by March in the country.
The 2017 Xcent facelift was spotted testing in Chennai by MotorVikatan. The test mule was partially camouflaged, mainly the side and rear end were covered. So we can expect some minor styling changes to this areas. From the spy shots, it is clear that the 2017 model will feature new taillight section.
At the front, we can expect the Xcent facelift to borrow some styling cues from the yet-to-launch Grand i10 facelift which includes hexagonal front grille, boomerang-shaped fog lamp housings, chrome fog lamp enclosures, etc.
Inside, the 2017 Xcent is expected to retain the same dashboard design as the ongoing model but it will now feature an infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The 2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift will get the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine, which will also do the duty in the new Grand i10. Current variants of the Hyundai Xcent are powered by a 1.1-litre diesel and a 1.2-litre petrol engine.
