Hyundai Eon Sports Edition Launched In India — Prices Start At Rs 3.88 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has introduced the Sports Edition of its Eon hatchback in the country. The Eon Sports Edition features cosmetic upgrades to the exterior and interior.
The Eon Sports Edition is available in Era+ and Magna+ trim levels. The Eon Era+ Sports Edition is priced at Rs 3.88 lakh and Rs 3.92 lakh for Solid and Metallic paint job respectively. The Magna+ trim is priced at Rs 4.14 lakh and Rs 4.18 lakh for Solid and Metallic paint scheme respectively. All prices are Ex-showroom (Delhi).
The newly launched Hyundai Eon Sports edition features roof rails and side body moulding graphics. The interior of the car is equipped with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with phone link.
The new AVN unit also gets a music system with two speakers installed on the door panels. There is no steering wheel mounted control buttons, and rest of the interior remains unchanged.
The Hyundai Eon Sports Edition draws power from a 0.8-litre three cylinder petrol engine producing 55bhp and 75Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Hyundai has launched the Eon Sports Edition to keep up with its rivals such as the Renault Kwid and Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 in the Indian market.
