Hyundai Kona Compact SUV Teased; Unveil Date Revealed
South Korean carmaker Hyundai has released yet another video teasing its upcoming Kona SUV ahead of its debut.
The latest teaser, which appears to be the last of the dozen in total we've seen also reveals the date the SUV will be revealed to the world.
The Hyundai Kona had earlier been spied undisguised in the wild and had revealed one of the boldest designs on an SUV we've seen which not unlike previous design jobs from Hyundai is bound to split opinions.
The new Kona is very likely to be based on the i20's platform but is expected to borrow the 1.4-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engines from the larger i30 when it finally makes its global debut on June 13.
The new Kona will sit under the Tucson and will compete with rivals like the Toyota C-HR and the Nissan Qashqai in global markets when it goes on sale later this year.
