2017 Hyundai Creta Details Leaked Ahead Of Launch
2017 Hyundai Creta to be offered with updated features and two new dual-tone colour schemes.
Hyundai has refreshed the Creta crossover with a wide variety of features and new exterior colour schemes. The leaked brochure images of the new Creta have emerged, revealing details about the changes.
As per Team-BHP, the catalogue shows that the new Creta will now be offered with new dual-tone colours - Polar White and Red Passion, have received the dual tone treatment and hence will come with Phantom Black coloured roof and pillars.
The dual tone colours are restricted to the SX+ Manual Gearbox variant only. The SX+ trim will also come with all black interiors and red & black seat upholstery.
As for the features, the new Creta will include Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Mirrorlink and Arkamys Sound Mood. All these updates will be offered in the S+, SX+, SX+ Dual Tone & SX(O) variants.
Also, the Creta E+ grade, which was available only with the 1.6-litre petrol engine earlier, customers can now opt for the 1.4-litre CRDi diesel engine with a manual gearbox, while the base variant E is now only available as a petrol model.
Mechanically, the 2017 Hyundai Creta will continue to be offered with the same engine options. The petrol model is powered by a 1.6-litre unit that produces 122bhp of power and 154Nm of torque.
The diesel model is available in two engine options - 1.4-litre engine that develops 89bhp of power and 224Nm of torque, while the 1.6-litre engine produces 126bhp of power and 265Nm of torque.
The 1.6-litre diesel and petrol motors are available in 6-speed manual gearbox as well as 6-speed automatic gearbox options; the smaller 1.4-litre diesel is offered only with a manual gearbox.
Prices are expected to be in the region of Rs 9.2 lakh to Rs 14.5 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
