Honda WR-V Microsite Goes Live Ahead Of India Launch
Honda has launched the microsite of the WR-V ahead of its India launch. Customers can submit their contact details on the microsite.
Honda India is all geared up for the launch of its crossover model, the WR-V. Ahead of its launch, the microsite of the crossover is live, and it displays the countdown for the launch.
Honda will launch the WR-V in the Indian market on March 16, 2017, and the customers interested in the vehicle can submit their contact details on the microsite.
The WR-V is a crossover model derived from the hatchback sibling, the Jazz. The overall design feels similar to that of Jazz, but Honda has done the right amount of work to distinguish WR-V from its hatchback counterpart.
The front fascia of the WR-V gets an all-new design with a vertical nose, revamped bumper, wider front grille and completely redesigned headlamps with daytime running LEDs.
The new crossover model will draw power from the same engine options found in the Jazz, which includes a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.
The petrol mill is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, whereas the oil burner is coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission. However, there is no automatic transmission in any of the variants.
Previously, we have told you everything about the upcoming WR-V, in brief, this crossover is a significant product for Honda in the Indian market, and the company is trying to get everything right from design, features and also pricing.
Expect the WR-V to be priced in the range of Rs 6.8 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. Once launched the crossover will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Hyundai i20 Active, Toyota Etios Cross, Volkswagen Cross Polo, and the Fiat Avventura.
