Pre-Launch bookings for the facelifted Honda City are now open. Honda has set the booking amount for the new City at Rs 21,000 and prospective owners can head to any dealership across to pre-book their new car.
To take the fight to the Ciaz, Honda has given the front end of the City some Civic-inspired design changes in the form of a chrome band that runs across the grille, along with new headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights and a revised front bumper. At the rear, the new City plays host to a boot lip spoiler and redesigned taillamps.
Inside, the refreshed Honda City comes with a brand new infotainment system. Honda's new safety package for the car means that the new City will feature six airbags as standard fitment.
Powering the new Honda City will be the same duo of 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines that power the current city. The petrol engine kicks out 117bhp and 145Nm of torque and is mated to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.
The diesel, on the other hand, produces 98bhp and 206Nm of torque and is only available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The new Honda City will launch in India on February 14 and will be hoping that the new City continues the car's love story with the Indian public.
