Rumour: Ford Might Launch Figo 'Sports' Edition In India
The Ford Figo Sports features cosmetic changes and will an addition to the features of the Titanium variant.
Ford India has plans to launch a 'Sports' variant of the Figo hatchback to the current lineup of the all-new Figo. The announcement is expected in the coming weeks from the company.
The Ford Figo Sports Edition features will be an addition to the Titanium variant. The update includes cosmetic changes to set it apart from the regular model. The Sports Edition of the Figo could be similar to the Black/ White Edition of the Ford KA+ available in the UK.
The features of the Figo Sports to include 15-inch black alloy wheels, honeycomb front grille, rear spoiler and graphic decals on the side and rear of the hatchback.
The car will also be offered with new dual tone colour scheme, where the roof and the ORVMs will be coloured in contrasting shades.
As for the interiors, except for the leather wrapped steering wheel with contrasting stitching, there will not be significant changes.
As per Team-BHP, Ford is not expected to change the engine specifications of the Figo Sports Edition and is expected to be positioned between the Titanium and Titanium+ variants. Other variants of the Ford Figo will continue to be sold in India.
