Next-Generation Fiat Punto (Argo) Teased Ahead Of Global Debut
Fiat has teased the Argo hatchback in a new video clip. The video reveals the LED headlamps and DRLs. The front grille, chrome finished exhaust and the tachometer has also been revealed in the video.
Italian car manufacturer Fiat has teased its new hatchback Argo in a new video. The Argo will replace the Punto in the company's product portfolio.
Previously, the images of the Argo being tested emerged on the internet. The Argo is all set to make its debut in the Brazilian market in the coming days. The new hatchback is based on the stretched version of the Fiat 326 platform.
It's the first time that the Argo has been teased in its production form. Although, the company has not revealed any important bits of the car.
The new teaser video shows the LED headlamp and daytime running lights. The wheels and the front grille of the car seem to be inspired by Abarth. The video also reveals the chrome finished exhaust and the tachometer of the car.
The car in the teaser video in an automatic variant. The Argo will also be offered in a manual transmission option. The Fiat Argo is likely to be offered in three variants - attractive, essence and sporting.
The upcoming Fiat Argo will be available with three engine options - a 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.3-litre naturally aspirated petrol motor and a 1.8-litre oil burner. It is not yet clear whether Fiat will bring the Argo to India to replace the Punto.
