Spy Pics: 2017 Skoda Octavia Spotted Testing In India
The 2017 facelifted Skoda Octavia has been spotted testing on the Indian roads. The design cues of the sedan is similar to its global sibling.
Czech automaker Skoda is expected to launch the 2017 facelifted Octavia in the Indian by the third quarter of 2017. Ahead of that the car was spotted testing on the Indian roads.
TeamBHP has spotted the 2017 Skoda Octavia testing near Aurangabad without any camouflage. Skoda has not officially confirmed the launch date of the facelifted sedan in India.
The spy image suggests that the India-spec 2017 Skoda Octavia shares the design cues from its global sibling. The 2017 Octavia was globally unveiled in October 2016.
The front fascia of 2017 facelifted Octavia features new grille and split headlamps. The headlamps are likely to get LED technology in the top-of-the-range model. The car also gets revamped bumper with the large air dam.
The side profile of the 2017 Octavia is expected to remain unchanged. The rear end of the car is likely to feature minor tweaks to the tail lights and bumper. Skoda may also offer new alloy wheels on the facelifted sedan.
The 2017 Octavia is likely to draw power from a 1.4-litre and 1.8-litre petrol engines and a 2-litre oil burner. Th transmission options include 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG gearbox for the petrol variant and 6-speed automatic for the diesel variant.
The interior of the facelifted Octavia is expected to be identical to the currently sold model. The 2017 model might feature a new instrument cluster and a 9.2-inch instrument cluster with connectivity options.
