A severe car crash doesn't end well. There will be a loss of lives, and the families of the victim will be shattered. But not in this accident. Both the drivers survived this horrific crash.
The accident took place at California's Highway 101 around 8 AM in the morning. The highway is considered as one of the dangerous stretches of road. The two cars collided head-on, the impact was so brutal that one of the cars was split in half.
Apol Lansang of Sonoma, California was driving a Chevrolet Impala. She was struck head-on by a Toyota Sequoia driven by Kevin Fenty. The aftermath of the crash was recorded by Tom Bond, a former US Air Force ambulance driver.
The Sequoia driven by Fenty drifted into the opposite lane of the highway, which resulted in a head-on collision. The impact sliced the Impala in two halves. The passenger side of the car was thrown into the side of the road.
The driver of the car Lansang remained buckled in the driver seat and miraculously survived the crash with minor injuries. But Fenty was thrown out of the vehicle and suffered moderate injuries.
The cause of this horrific crash is being investigated. Drugs are also considered as a key factor in this crash as the driver of the Toyota Sequoia drifted down the opposite lane of the highway.
