Cougar Motorsport Successfully Completes 100 Events In India
Cougar Motorsport has successfully completed 100 events in India, and the Founder, Ashish Gupta comments on the occasion.
Delhi-based Cougar Motorsport Pvt. Ltd. has successfully completed its 100th event. The company started operations in the year 2009 in the luxury self-driving experiences arena and has since grown into various service offerings, all of them related to motoring experiences.
Commenting on the occasion, Ashish Gupta, Cougar Motorsport's Founder & Director said, "I can still remember the time we were planning our first event and the doubts that people around us had about the viability of sustaining such a niche business."
"In these 100 events, we have dabbled in a variety of formats including rallies, expeditions, off-roading and event management. What has remained constant in our offerings is that all of them are unique experiences meant for fellow driving enthusiasts. Today, on an average we organize more than one event per month and this says a lot about the sustainable nature of our business model."
Till date, Cougar Motorsport has organized 16 Signature Events, including 5 Desert Dash rallies across the Thar Desert, 7 Himalayan Dash expeditions to Ladakh and Srinagar, as well as a Sanctuary Dash expedition through the Tiger Reserves of Kanha and Pench.
In 2014, Cougar Motorsport bought the India franchise rights for the Rainforest Challenge (RFC), which is considered one among the top ten toughest forms of motorsports in the World. In the past three years, RFC India has emerged as the toughest international off-road motorsport event in the country.
The fourth edition of RFC India is scheduled to take place in Goa from July 22 to 30, 2017. Cougar Motorsport also launched another property in 2016, the India 4X4 Week, as the first-of-its-kind convention in the country focusing exclusively on vehicles with 4WD capability.
The company also organises multiple driving experiences for automobile manufacturers such as Land Rover, Tata Motors, Mitsubishi, and Renault. Through such events, automobile manufacturers can connect with existing and potential customers.
Cougar Motorsport is the exclusive partner in India for the execution of Land Rover Experiences and has till date organized 31 driving experiences for the carmaker. According to Mr. Ashish Gupta, "It has been an immensely satisfying journey so far with a great learning curve. Owing to the experience that we have gained over the years, we are now ready to take on bigger challenges and execute events of even greater magnitude."
