Chevrolet Beat Essentia Spotted Yet Again; Launch Likely In March
The market-ready Beat Essentia looks very similar to the concept model which was showcased.
General Motors India is planning to revamp its current product lineup with the launch of new models in the next two years and the first model that is going to be launched this year is the Chevrolet Beat Essentia.
The Chevrolet Beat-based sedan was spotted testing yet again. IndianCarsBikes has shared the images of the Beat Essentia sedan on the internet. The model was first showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo as a concept.
Recently, the Beat Essentia was spotted testing on the Indian roads several times. It is expected that the model will be launched in the Indian market in March this year. The manufacturer is also readying the Beat Active hatchback, which was also showcased alongside the Beat Essentia sedan at the 2016 Auto Expo.
The market-ready Beat Essentia looks very similar to the concept model which was showcased. The sedan will come equipped with a MyLink2 touchscreen infotainment system with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rearview camera. On the safety side, it will get ABS and dual airbags.
The Beat Essentia will likely get a 1.2-litre S-TECH petrol engine that is capable of delivering 77bhp of power and 107Nm of peak torque, and a 1.0-litre three-cylinder diesel motor that will generate 56bhp of power and 142Nm of peak torque.
