Half The Bugatti Chirons In The World Have Found Homes — Book Yours Before It's Too Late
Bugatti has dispatched 250 units of the Chiron to the buyers. Half of the lot is still up for grabs.
In 1998, German automaker VW bought Bugatti. The only goal was to build the fastest and the best car in the world and in 2005 the Bugatti Veyron was born - the fastest accelerating production car.
So, in 2016 Bugatti wanted to push the limits and they came up with the - Chiron. This hypercar has no match and will be limited to only 500 units. Out of which, 250 cars have already been booked and the first three cars have been dispatched to the owners. Still, the car will be showcased at the upcoming 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
Europe has been the strongest market for the Chiron, with 37 percent of all sales, followed by North America with 30 percent and the Middle East with 26 percent.
The Chiron Which will be showcased will be a Bleu Royal carbon colour. The rest include Black, Grey, Turquoise, Blue, Green, Brown, Red.
Speaking about the car, the Chiron is powered by an 8.0-litre W-16 quad-turbo petrol engine. It is capable of churning out around 1500 bhp of power and 1600Nm of peak torque! So much power can catapult the car from a standstill to 100 km/h in less than 2.5 seconds. Further on, the car can keep on accelerating till it reaches its top speed of 460 km/h!
Now, one interesting fact about the Chiron is the number of radiators it has. A normal car comes with one radiator, but, the Chiron packs 10 radiators. It helps cool down the engine, turbos, brakes and the rear mechanical spoiler.
Step inside the car and you will be welcomed with seats covered in leather upholstery, gear lever, and four circular air-con dials. Moreover, the Chiron gets bespoke touches to the interiors and the exteriors.
Thinking about the price? Well, the Bugatti Chiron comes with a jaw-dropping price tag of EUR 2.4 million (approximately Rs 16.9 crore). And seriously, this hypercar has no match, which means no rivals.
