Brochure Leaked: Mahindra KUV100 Anniversary Edition
The 2017 Mahindra KUV100 anniversary edition will get a dual tone interior.
Indian auto major Mahindra & Mahindra is geared up for the launch of its KUV100 anniversary edition. The regular KUV100 compact SUV was launched on January 15, 2016, and the carmaker decided to make the anniversary edition and will be launched in the coming days.
The features brochure images of the KUV100 have been posted by IndianAutoBlog on the internet. The 2017 Mahindra KUV100 anniversary edition will get a dual tone interior. The model will be offered in Flamboyant Red or Dazzling Silver body colours with a completely blacked out roof according to the source.
The K8 variant will ride on 15-inch ‘Dynamic design' alloy wheels, while the K6 and K6+ variant will feature 14-inch ‘Spider design' alloys. Along with the launch of KUV100 anniversary edition, the carmaker is also introducing four accessory kits - Sporty exterior kit, Sporty interior kit, Premium exterior kit and Premium interior kit.
However, there will be no change in the engine specification as it continues to use the same 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 and 1.2-litre mFalcon D75 powerplants. The 1.2-litre mFalcon petrol unit generates 82bhp of power and 114Nm of torque, while the 1.2-litre mFalcon G80 engine produces 77bhp of power and 190Nm of torque.
Both the oil burners are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the model now returns ARAI-certified fuel economy of 18.15kmpl in petrol and 25.32kmpl in diesel variants. Mahindra announced the extended accessory line just after Maruti Suzuki launched the Ignis, which also comes with customisation kits. The rival from Japan, the Ignis has crossed 10,000 bookings in the country within 20 days.
