Bajaj Dominar 400 Crosses 2,500 Bookings Since Its Launch
Bajaj’s all new cruiser Dominar crosses 2,500 since its inception in December 2016.
Bajaj Auto launched one of the most anticipated motorcycles in India in December 2016, the Dominar 400. Reports suggest that the most powerful offering from Bajaj has crossed 2500 bookings.
The Dominar 400 comes with a price tag of Rs 1.36 lakh for the non-ABS variant, while the ABS-variant is priced at Rs 1.50 lakh. The bookingwas open from December 15 through Bajaj's official online site purposefully made for the Dominar 400.
The Bajaj motorcycle is made to take on the touring segment which is currently dominated by Royal Enfield. The Managing Director of Bajaj, Rajiv Bajaj has said earlier that the company intends to sell around 13,000 units of the Dominar 400 per month.
Powering the Dominar 400 is a 373.3cc DTS-i liquid-cooled engine which generates 34 bhp of power and 35Nm of torque. The motorcycle is able to do a sprint from 0 - 100 km/h in just 8.23 seconds. The suspension duties are carried out by telescopic forks up front and adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
The Bajaj cruiser features a full LED headlamp with Auto Headlamp On (AHO), fully digital instrument cluster, slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle is available in three colours, namely, Midnight Blue, Moon White and Twilight Plum.
