Audi R8 V10 Plus Gets ABT Treatment — Gets Even More Insane
The ABT package for the Audi R8 V10 Plus also includes suspension upgrades, interior tweaks, and a weight reduction.
German tuners ABT Sportsline have done another job on the Audi R8 V10, pumping up the 5.2-litre FSI V10 to 621bhp, and torque from 530Nm to 550Nm.
With 20 more bhp than the R8 V10 Plus, ABT claims a 0-100km/h run of 3.5 seconds, and top speed for the mid-engined coupe of 318km/h. ABT says they've also managed to decrease the car's centre of gravity by fitting coil over springs and sports stabilisers on the front and rear axles, as well as lessen the weight by some 50 kg.
The conversion includes a full body kit as well. A front skirt and front lip with blades give the R8 a subtle-yet-noticeably evil facelift.
Wheel arch vents and carbon fibre side blades continue the theme set by the front, with the rear receiving its updated skirt with blades. Optional carbon fibre mirror covers complete the body kit.
Other additions include a new set of wheels, where customers get to choose between 19- or 20-inch ABT forged alloys and the carbon fibre side mirror caps.
As for the interior, ABT provides an exclusive entrance lighting to go along with the new leather/Alcantara upholstery and carbon fibre trims.
