Audi To Launch Q2 SUV And A5 Cabriolet In India — Will This Help Audi Regain Its Crown?
Audi will be launching the Q2 SUV and the A5 Cabriolet in India, to reclaim the top luxury carmaker crown.
The war is on between Audi and Mercedes-Benz to claim the top luxury car manufacturer crown in India. Mercedes is leading now, and to beat the competition, Audi wanted to launch ten new cars in India.
Two of the ten new cars Audi would launch in India this year are the Q2 SUV and the A5 Cabriolet. Audi has not revealed when the two models will be launched, though. Also, Audi is looking at possibilities to introduce a hatchback.
When the Audi Q2 makes its way to India, it will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLA, while the A5 Cabriolet, on the other hand, will take on the Mercedes E400 Cabriolet in the Indian market.
The Audi A5 Cabriolet is an all new car for Audi, and powering the convertible will be a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox, which produces around 252bhp.
So until the two models make it to India later this year, feast your eyes on the A5 Cabriolet in the image gallery below.
