Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar Revealed In The Most Production Guise Yet
The Aston Martin Valkyrie has been revealed in its most production-ready guise yet, with headlights on the car for the first time.
When Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing unveiled the concept model of the Valkyrie, there was not much known of the hypercar from the British carmaker.
The concept lacked lighting units on both ends and didn't exactly look production-ready, but since then the Valkyrie has received a pair of headlights, new wheels, silver finish, and what appears to be a complete interior.
Aston Martin tweeted an image which shows tennis star Serena Williams posing next to it. The Valkyrie on the tweeted image was displayed at a private event, during the 2017 Monaco Grand Prix.
Reports suggest that the presentation contemplates that it's entirely possible that it was revealed to the people who have already made a deposit and are now waiting for Aston Martin to produce it.
But the speculation was put to rest with brand's representatives quoting that this Valkyrie isn't production-ready yet, despite looking all equipped to hit the assembly lines.
A naturally aspirated V12 6.5-litre powers the Aston Martin Valkyrie along with a KERS system sourced from Rimac, to churn out as much as 1,000bhp paired to a 7-speed automatic gearbox.
