Somebody Get Bond Back — Q's Singing The Blues With His Next Car
Aston Martin's Q division's latest bespoke is a rather blue one-off DB11.
Q, the quartermaster of the James Bond franchise seems to have had a few days off since Bond decided to call it a day at the end of Spectre. It's not surprising that Aston Martin decided to appropriate his services to tweak Bond's next mean machine.
Well not exactly. The new DB11 by Q is the work of Aston Martin's bespoke division, Q, which recently unveiled the Red Bull-themed V8 and V12 Vantage S.
The new DB11 by Q is rather blue, well, mostly blue. The Aston Martin DB11 by Q features the Zaffre Blue colour on its bodywork, and wheels.
Outside whatever that escaped Q's Bluesy mood is in carbon fibre with the front splitter, rear diffuser and mirrors all using the lightweight carbon weave.
Inside, most of the car is draped in Obsidian black leather but the blues do make a return in the form of the interior detailing and stitching.
Thankfully Q's changes are asthetic only so the new 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 that produces 600bhp and 700Nm is thankfully unchanged.
