The world's first flying car, the AeroMobil is set to debut in Monaco this month. Read now to get all the details of the future of transportation.
With the increase in vehicles in the cities, the traffic is turning out be a massive challenge. The flying car is said to be a solution for this problem, but the development of the technology is still in early stage. But not anymore, because, we might soon see a production version of the world's first flying car.
Slovakian firm AeroMobil is set to debut its flying car concept at the Top Marques Show in Monaco on April 20, 2017. The company had already showcased the AeroMobil flying car 3.0 in 2014. But the latest version of the model will feature a host of improvements.
The company states that the AeroMobil is an integrated aircraft and a fully functional four-wheel car. The vehicle combines the aero and car functionality and results in an efficient mode of transport in the future.
The previous mode, the AeroMobil 3.0 concept was a three-seater vehicle. It was powered by a Rotax 912 four-cylinder engine producing 99bhp and a top speed of 200km/h in air. The road going version was capable of reaching a speed of 160km/h.
The technical figures of the AeroMobil are expected to improve in the latest iteration of the flying car. The company claims a mileage of 12.5km/l on road 15litres/hour in air. The vehicle has a range of around 875km on road and 700km in air.
The company stated that the complete details on the AeroMobil would be available on April 20, 2017. The deliveries of the flying car could commence from as early as next year. But the company is yet to reveal the pricing of the flying car.
