2018 Hyundai Santro Might Be Launched At Just Rs 3.5 Lakh
The 2018 Hyundai Santro will hit the Indian market by 2018 and according to the reports the new model will be launched at just Rs 3.5 lakh.
Hyundai's successful model in the Indian market, the Santro will be back on the Indian roads in 2018. The tall boy model was discontinued in 2014 due to the poor demand.
The Santro was discontinued from the Indian market to make way for the Eon and Elite i20 on the company's assembly line. But Hyundai plans to replace the i10 with the 2018 Santro.
According to reports, the 2018 Hyundai Santro is expected to be launched with a price tag of around Rs 3.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh in the Indian market.
The 2018 Santro is codenamed as 2018 AH and is expected to be launched in October 2018. The car will make its comeback with a stylish new avatar.
The 2018 Santro will sport newly designed front and rear fascia to attract the young generation in the country. The car will be loaded with features and will be more spacious.
The new Santro is expected to be powered by a highly refined, powerful and fuel efficient 1-litre engine. The car will continue with its tall boy design but will lose its boxy look.
Apart from that, the 2018 Santro will also get the AMT transmission to take on its segment rivals such as Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Tata Tiago and Chevrolet Beat.
