2017 Porsche Panamera India Launch In March
The Panamera Turbo is expected to come with price tag of Rs 1.9 crore while the Executive Turbo will be priced over Rs 2 crore.
German automaker Porsche is geared up for the launch of second-generation Panamera in India in March. The carmaker will launch the turbo variant in the country first.
Porsche Panamera Turbo draws power from an all-new 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that delivers 550bhp of power and 770Nm of peak torque, which is enough to propel the sedan from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
The Panamera Executive Turbo is stretched out version of the standard Panamera and it has a 150mm longer wheelbase to provide rear legroom. The ‘Executive' model also uses the same engine as the Turbo model and delivers the same power output.
The Panamera Turbo is expected to come with price tag of Rs 1.9 crore while the Executive Turbo will be priced over Rs 2 crore. According to some reports, the carmaker will expand its Panamera range in the country by the end of this year.
Porsche will also launch the hybrid variants, Panamera 4-E Hybrid and Panamera 4-E Hybrid Executive next year. The diesel models that are expected to be launched in the country will be equipped with a new 3.0-litre V6 and a more powerful 4.0-litre V8.
