2017 Jaguar F-Type Launched With World-First Go-Pro Technology
Jaguar has launched the 2017 range of F-Type sports car with the worl-first GoPro technology. To mark the introduction of new F-Type an exclusive 400 Sport edition has been launched.
Jaguar has launched the all-new range of the F-Type sports car with the world-first Re-Run App that combines the vehicle data with GoPro video to enhance the driving experience.
Since its launch back in 2012, the sports car is known for its unrivaled balance of aggressive design, stunning performance and outstanding dynamics.
The new range of F-Type models will feature Touch Pro infotainment system with intelligent navigation function such as real-time traffic and live weather reports. The new range of modesl also come with a world-first Re-Run app which works with Go-Pro camera.
The interior of the updated F-Type features lightweight slimline seats and new aluminium and chrome trim finishers. The new seats are 8kg lighter compared to the current model.
To mark the launch of the new F-Type range, Jaguar has launched an exclusive 400 Sport launch edition. The Sport edition will be globally sold for the period of one year. Powering the Sport edition car is the 3-litre supercharged V6 engine churning out 396bhp.
The Sport edition also gets uprated chassis comprising the Super Performance braking system, Configurable Dynamics and 20-inch wheels with a unique Dark Satin Grey finish.
The F-Type 400 Sport features distinctive Yellow and Dark Satin Grey 400 SPORT badges on the rear of the car and on the front splitter to highlight that extra power underneath the bonnet.
The new variant to the F-Type range is the R-Dynamic model. The R-Dynamic is available with two tune options, 335bhp and a 375bhp variant of the supercharged V6 engine. The model gets a distinguished 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheel designs.
On the technological front, the new range of F-Type will sport ultrasonic parking sensors, if it's suitable to pass, the system will take care of the steering. Everything the driver need to do is just press a button, engage reverse and control the throttle and brakes.
The new 2017 F-Type range has been expanded to 22 variants with F-Type, F-Type-R-Dynamic, F-Type-R, F-Type 400 Sport and F-Type SVR versions.
