2017 Honda City Facelift Revealed — Images, Features, TVC And Specs
The 2017 Honda City facelift features new 16-inch alloy wheels and is expected to come with the ZX trim; expected to be launched by end of January 2017.
Honda has officially revealed the 2017 City facelift in Thailand with images and details. The new City is expected to be launched in India by the end of January 2017.
The new City has been facelifted with a new front profile. The single slat chrome strip running between the headlamps is much slimmer compared to the outgoing model. The headlamps of the City facelift has been redesigned and now comes with LED daytime running lights and projector units.
Honda has revised the design of the front bumper on the new City with amore prominent division between the air dam and the fog lamp housing.
As for the rear profile of the facelifted City, the taillights are of LED units, thebumper has been redesigned and the spoiler on the boot lid get bits of chrome garnish with centre-mounted wide LED stop light.
On the side of the new City, the design remains largely the same, except for the new 16-inch 'petal' designed alloy wheels instead of the 15-inch alloy wheels available in the current model. Also, the new City's suspension has been raised by 10mm for asmoother ride.
The City facelift will get an all-new 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and a mirroring app. The top-end version of the new City will get six airbags as standard, leather seats and a soft-touch dashboard.
Honda will power the new City with the same engines as the current model -- 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel unit.
Reports suggestthat Honda will bring back the ‘City ZX' name to the 2017 City and will be the top-end variant. Honda has not confirmed the launch details of the new City; however, we expect the company to launch the executive sedan by the end of January 2017.
