The next-generation Audi Q5 is expected to be launched in the Indian market by mid-2017. The new SUV is based on Volkswagen group's MLB Evo platform.
After globally revealing the 2017 Audi Q5 in 2016, the German car manufacturer is looking to the launch the next-generation Q5 SUV in the Indian market by mid-2017.
The front fascia of the Audi Q5 looks identical to the current-gen Q7, but the rest of the car looks similar to its previous model. Although, the new Q5 is based on the Volkswagen Group's MLB Evo platform.
The interior of the new Q5 also looks similar to that of the Audi Q7. The interior features Audi's 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster, MMI infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and multi-zone climate control.
The 2017 Audi Q5 is expected to be powered by a 2-litre four cylinder, petrol and diesel engine which delivers a power output of around 252bhp and 190bhp respectively.
The India-spec Audi Q5 might be offered with an all-wheel-drive system and an automatic 8-speed gearbox will be standard across all variants.
