Women’s Rally To The Valley Organised By WIAA On March 6
Women's Day will be celebrated in India on March 8, 2016. The Western India Automobile Association (WIAA) will be organising a special rally on March 6, 2016. This rally is organised only for women participants and is called 'Women's Rally to the Valley'.
The flag off for Women's Rally to the Valley will begin from Sahara Star hotel. All participants will gather near Mumbai's domestic airport at seven in the morning on Sunday. The final destination for all participants is Aamby Valley and thus, it is called 'Women's Rally to the Valley'.
Present at the flag off will be Valsa Nair Singh, Principal Secretary of Tourism and Culture, Government of Maharashtra. The 2016-edition of women's rally is the second organised by WIAA. Over 1,000 women are expected to take part in Women's Rally to the Valley event.
A particular route and course has been designed and all participants will have to follow the selected route. In the case of any breakdowns, a service vehicle will be present for immediate help. A team of marshals and ambulances will be present throughout the course.
WIAA will also be organising a dinner and prize distribution ceremony on March 8, 2016, at Sahara Star in Mumbai. The final results of the women rally to Aamby valley will be announced on March 7, 2016.
