Has The New 2017 Audi Q5 Got What It Takes To Be As The Previous Generation Model?

The company has to repeat its success as the previous generation with the 2017 Q5. The new Q5 is similar in design to the latest Q7 and will be manufactured in Mexico and will be sold globally. For India, Audi will look to localise to bring the prices of the new Q5 to be competitive.

The crossover Q5 is built on the MQB platform which is as the A4 sedan and will be powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. So you get the SUV with the sedan-like performance.

As compared to the old Q5, the 2017 Q5 is lighter by 85kgs and offers 22 percent lower fuel consumption. The 2017 Audi Q5 also boasts of class leading 0.26 coefficient of drag.

The front-wheel drive (FWD) will be offered as an option to the rear-wheel drive (RWD) Quattro models.

Along with the launch of the 2017 Q5, Audi launched the new A5/ S5 Sportback models as well as the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The new models look a lot more like a toned down version of the A7 sedan.

For auto enthusiasts, Audi revealed the RS3 sedan at the 2016 Paris Motor Show as well. With the list of launches and reveals, Audi has a wide range of vehicles in different segment catering to sports and luxury sedans and SUVs.
