Volvo V40 & V40 Cross Country Updated For 2016 In India

Volvo has provided the V40 and V40 Cross Country with an update for 2016. The Swedish manufacturer is calling this facelift as the new face for model year 2017. Both models will get trim updates across all variants sold in India.

An all-new grille will have a striking visual effect on Volvo enthusiasts. The Swedish automobile manufacturer will also be providing the V40 and V40 Cross Country models with the 'Thor's Hammer' headlights. Volvo has borrowed the new design cues from their 90 Series models.

New body colours are also being offered with the V40 and V40 Cross Country models. The new paint options are called Denim Blue, Amazon Blue, Bursting Blue, Mussel Blue, and Luminous Sand. Existing colour options are also available with both models to consumers.

The interior of the V40 range will also be updated in India for 2016. The key fob will be updated and will feature Volvo's new logo. New upholstery will be provided called City Weave, while the steering wheel gets an optional Charcoal/ Blond option.

Panel trims have also been updated by Volvo designers, on offer will be Black Grid Aluminium, Stealth Aluminium, and Milled Aluminium. Accent colours with contrast stitching are available as an option, along with an all-new black headliner.
