Volvo On The Move; Now Recruiting 400 Software Engineers
Volvo has taken a major step towards improving its safety system, autonomous technology and electrification, by deciding to hire 400 engineers in next 12 months. Volvo stated that, the new recruits will focus on software development, at Volvo's research and development headquarters in Gothenburg.
Volvo is also opening a research and development center in Lund, southern Sweden. Recently, Volvo announced its collaboration with American transport firm Uber, to develop autonomous driving cars. Volvo also said that it will launch autonomous driving projects in China and London.

Volvo is also speculating to launch a hybrid variant, based on each of its new models, gradually it will replace its entire product range in future. Volvo will be launching fully electric vehicles by 2019.
