Is Volvo Set To Enter Formula E? Here Is Some Proof
Volvo is all set to make an entry into world of electric racing cars, that's FIA Formula E championship. Swedish automaker which is currently competing in World Touring Car Championship, is likely to enter Formula E championship in the future. It was unveiled by its performance wing Polester.
A decision is expected to taken on this before the third season begins in Hong Kong in October.
Volvo/ Polester is also in the Formula E Manufacturers Advisory Group, and is very eager to compete in the electric series which getting very popular and gaining the attention of big brands.
Volvo has also offered a lot of products in the hybrid car arena, and is speculating an all electric approach for its future projects. By competing in Formula E, Volkswagen will get a platform to showcase its electric car technology to the world and to its rivals in the automobile industry.
