The exterior will receive an updated front and rear bumper. Designers will update the headlights with a smoked effect and U-shaped Daytime Running Lights (DRLs). Volkswagen could also provide new and stylish alloy wheels on their 2016 Vento sedan as well.

Interiors of 2016 Volkswagen Vento could also receive a mild update. The German manufacturer is likely to provide new upholstery for a premium and upmarket feel. New Vento could also feature an all-new entertainment system.

Under the hood, Volkswagen will be making no changes. The 2016 Vento will continue to be offered with two petrol and a single diesel engine option. Customers can avail optional manual or an automatic gearbox with Volkswagen's 2016 Vento sedan.

Volkswagen is aiming at making their 2016 Vento a more lucrative buy compared to its competitors. Sales currently of Vento are not high compared to the competition in the Indian market. The Vento competes with Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Maruti Suzuki's Ciaz.
