By Dennis
Volkswagen expects to buy back around 115,000 cars in the United States in the fallout of the emissions scandal according to a German newspaper report.
German daily paper Sueddeutsche Zeitung claims that German automaker expected it would have to either refund the purchase price of a fifth of the over 500,000 diesel vehicles affected by the diesel emissions scandal or offer a new car at a significant discount.
The news comes just days after the US Justice Department and the Environmental Protection Agency sued VW in Detroit, Michigan.
