Volkswagen Polo Allstar Edition Spotted In India; Could Launch Soon
The Volkswagen Polo Allstar edition was recently spotted testing in India, which could hint that the launch date could be anytime around the corner. The Polo Allstar model will be a special edition model and was first showcased in December 2015, alongside other Allstar models.
The Allstar editions are already on sale in Europe and the models will promote the 2016 UEFA European Championship football tournament, which will be held from June 10 to July 10 2016 in France. If Volkswagen is promoting the UEFA Championship with the Allstar models, the launch of the Polo Allstar model in India could be expected around June-July.
The Allstar edition was spotted with a diesel badge, which means the car could be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine mated to a manual or an automatic gearbox.
Differentiating the Allstar model from a regular Polo will be an 'ALLSTAR' badge on the B-pillar and the fenders. The Polo Allstar edition will feature automatic climate control with a rear AC vent, new infotainment system with touchscreen, navigation, Bluetooth, and USB, rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, and 15-inch alloy wheels.
