Volkswagen India Teases Compact Sedan Ahead Of Debut

Volkswagen India has confirmed that its very first made in India product is ready. The German automobile manufacturer will be showcasing its all-new product at the 2016 Auto Expo. Now, Volkswagen India has shared a quick teaser video of their upcoming product.

The all-new Volkswagen product developed for the Indian market is a compact sedan. Now the German manufacturer wants us to guess the name of their soon to be unveiled compact sedan. From the video shared, we think the engineers are calling the vehicle either Ameo or Bora.

Engineers at Volkswagen's Chakan facility are seen admiring the new product. Unfortunately, when they use the name of the vehicle there is a beep. Volkswagen India wants to see if it's fans can accurately guess the name of their upcoming compact sedan.

Volkswagen's compact sedan is most likely to share design and components with the Polo hatchback. Engines provided in the compact sedan will be similar to that in Polo. Platform and component sharing are being done to achieve the most competitive pricing for its compact sedan.
