Volkswagen Ameo Roadshow Commences From Pune

Volkswagen India has commenced the roadshow of its upcoming compact sedan. The Ameo was unveiled at a Pune dealership, along with a print, digital and radio media campaign. Customers can look and feel the vehicle prior to booking it in the country.

The Ameo compact sedan will be showcased at several other cities. Volkswagen India has decided to unveil its all-new vehicle at various dealerships across the country to reach a wider audience prior to its launch. Pre-bookings can be made through the website as well as through an iOS app.

The Ameo roadshow will come to an end by July, 2016. We expect the compact sedan will launch in India post the roadshow. Deliveries of the VW Ameo are expected to begin soon after its launch pan India. Volkswagen India will be taking the Ameo to 17 cities across India as part of its campaign.

Under the hood of the Volkswagen Ameo will be an optional 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel and a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. Both engines will be mated to a manual gearbox and an AMT option could be in the works.

Dual front airbags and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) will be standard across all trims in the Ameo. Volkswagen India will also provide the compact sedan with cruise control, rain sensing wipers, and static cornering lights. Stay tuned for more updates from Volkswagen.
