Tata’s Upcoming Cars For India In 2016; The Designs Are Just Getting Better
Tata Motors is getting ready for a slew of launches in India this year. The sales have slumped for the giant, however, the new upcoming cars from Tata Motors looks promising. Here are the cars from Tata Motors which is expected to be launched in 2016.
Tata Hexa
First up, will be the crossover from Tata Motors, the Hexa which will rival the Mahindra XUV500, Toyota Innova, and Honda BR-V. If you remember the Tata Aria, which was a very good vehicle, except, that it was not marketed properly and bad pricing put the lid on the sales.
Engineers from Tata Motors worked on the Aria to bring the Hexa, which is a lot better in terms of the overall package. The design is the first impression the Hexa which grabs your attention. The Hexa is butch, beefy and angular and not the curvier design we saw in the Aria.
The Tata Hexa looks a lot more SUV than an MPV which was initially launched to take on the Toyota Innova, however, the latter took the competition to another level and Aria was not really in the game.
Tata Motors will equip the Hexa with the Safari Storme Varicor diesel engine, which will be mated to manual and an automatic gearbox. It will also come with the option of AWD (All Wheel Drive).

Tata Kite 5 (Tiago Sedan)
The Kite 5 is the compact sedan ripped out of the Tiago hatchback, this is expected to be launched during the festive season this year. There have been many spy images floating on the internet and the Kite 5 seems to be promising as well.
The exterior and the interior of the Kite 5 will be adapted from the Tiago, except it has a unique boot lid, which is unlike the sub-four compact sedan we have seen in India. The Kite 5 will draw power from the Tiago and will come in petrol and diesel hearts.

The Kite 5 is expected to be lot cheaper compared to some of the compact sedan in India and will be positioned below the Zest and a replacement for the Indigo eCS.

Tata Nexon
Tata Motors showcased the Nexon in the Delhi Auto Expo 2016 and it will be the production version which we will get to see on the road. The compact SUV is promising with some of the 1st in segment features.
From the styling point of view, it's an SUV with a coupe flow design and the USP will be its design. Tata Motors could be smelling at success with this product, the interiors of the Nexon is premium with the floating infotainment system seen only in luxury cars like the Audi and Mercedes.

The Tata Nexon will go up against the Maruti Brezza, Ford EcoSport, and the Mahindra TUV300 and is expected to be launched by the end of 2016.

Tata Bolt Sport
The Bolt Sport was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show this year and the Tata Bolt with add-on body kits for the front, side, and rear which ups the sporty quotient. Apart from the body works, it will come with alloys.
But the most appealing feature is that it will come with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and is expected to punch out 120bhp, so the Bolt Sport is not just sporty on the outside, but on the inside as well. It might get some motorsport enthusiasts a car to consider.
