Three More Indian Cities Can Now Avail UberPool Services
Uber India has confirmed that three more cities will receive their special services. Now customers in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad can avail services of UberPool. The app-based taxi service provider introduced the service on World Environment Day, June 5, 2016.
In metro cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad, it is very common for people to use their personal vehicles all alone. Owing to which vehicle traffic in these cities increase. UberPool will offer customers to share and reduce the number of vehicles on the road.
Previously, UberPool facility was on offer only to customers in Bengaluru and Delhi. Statistics show that over 50,000 customers opt for UberPool each week since its launch in India. UberPool facility is available worldwide and is recently been introduced in Indian cities.
UberPool confirms that customers will witness 50 percent cheaper rates than UberGo. The price will be half of the regular fare in an UberGo, whether Uber is able to pair one customer with another or not. Drivers will also benefit as lower fares equal to greater demand.
