Uber India Introduces Price Hike In Delhi-NCR Region
Uber India has decided to hike the price of its services in Delhi-NCR region. Only UberGo and UberX options will be affected by the price hike. The new fares will be applicable only on rides that surpass 20 kilometres and more.
Previously, UberGo fare price was Rs. 6 per kilometre. After the price hike, UberGo will be priced at Rs. 12 per kilometre. UberX, on the other hand, is now priced at Rs. 13 per kilometre, previously customers had to shell out Rs. 9 per kilometre.
Customers using UberGo and UberX for short distance commute will not experience the price hike. Trips from Delhi to Gurgaon, Gurgaon to Noida, and Noida to Delhi will witness the revised pricing. Short trips will be unaffected by the price hike introduced by Uber India.
App-based taxi service provider wants to ensure customers with rides for sure. They also want to provide fair earnings for the drivers. Hike in price for longer routes would motivate drivers to ply more between these routes. Luckily, Uber India has not hiked or revised pricing of its UberPool.
