Toyota yet again has been awarded the world's most valuable car brand. A recent study done by Millward Brown, a market research firm that publishes the BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands, reveals the Japanese automaker's brand value went up by 2% to $29.5 billion.
The primary reason for Toyota's value to grow is because the company continues to emphasise on customer service improvements.
As expected, Volkswagen's brand value has dropped post their emission scandal and is not among the Top 10 brands. The surprise, however, is Tesla's entry into the top 10 world's most valuable car brand at tenth place.
The Millward Brown's BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands survey is based on millions of consumer interviews. So, if you own a Toyota, it's time to let the world know that your brand is more valuable than Mercedes-Benz, which is in third place, and BMW, placed second.
